hi everyone. Wayne here again. These last few months have been a whirlwind of activity. Since the previous posting, Patti's mother passed away. Patti then went in for her annual mammogram and they spotted something again that they had been watching for the last couple of years. But this time they felt a biopsy was in order. The results of the biopsy were unfortunately not good news. One week after those results Patti had her first breast surgery. Pathology came back and said there was more that needed to be removed in that area. So three days later she was back in surgery again. This time they feel they got all of it. Luckily the sentinal node was cancer free so they know that it hadn't spread to the other lymph nodes. FINALLY, some good news after all she has been through this past year.. She is now on the road to recovery.. Hopefully, she will be up to blogging again soon.. God Bless everyone who has been praying for my dear bride.. -- Wayne

Wow, do I know it....I have been absent for a while. Seems I have done that a lot this past year. Truly the reason why is due to the fact that I not only own a business called Magic Moments Photography, Inc photographing Weddings, Families, Children, Pre-Natal and Events, but I have also been very involved with caring for my parents. I lost my Father this July 4th to cancer, and now have been caring for my Mother, who does not have a long life ahead of her due to Cancer. Life to say has been very busy. The gentleman on his knee, proposing (again) to his Bride called me without his Bride to be knowing. He wanted to renew his vows with the person he had married 9 years ago. She had no idea. He brought her into the entry of the church, got down on his knee and asked her to marry him again. Oh my, tears did start to roll down my cheeks as well. You see, I enjoy weddings....If it is the First time you marry....or renewal of vows....or marrying later in life....yes, we have even "re-photographed" a divorced Bride from her original husband and getting married a second time!!! My Little Girl

Yes, we all are "little girls" to our Daddy's. No matter what our age. I just love being involved with the preparation at the Brides home of getting ready. The best part is when Daddy comes around the corner....what can he do? Give his little girl a hug and a kiss. I remember the day my Daddy saw me for the first time all dressed up and ready to venture out on a new life with the love of my life. But you know what?....Daddy will ALWAYS be the Love of MY LIFE.

Yes, yes, I have been gone a while, huh? If you only knew...life has been busy, hectic and most enjoyable - fun! Yesterday my husband and I took our Grandson to his first Professional Football game. Who is MORE Proud?

Here we have a Dad (Coach) with child at a recent Sporting Event Session. Who looks more proud? We will always photograph a parent who is a coach of a sporting event with their child-and present to them a complimentary image for the parent to cherish. We know the hard work that goes into coaching-although rewarding, but another way we show our appreciation is with something for them to cherish on their desk. Next time you see a coach, give them a "thank you" for all their hard work---it's usually volunteerism at this young age level. These parents are teaching the children the skills....

We were fortunate enough to be able to capture the whole family together to create an image for them to treasure. I can't thank them enough for thier brave duties they have endured. We were so fortunate to be able to photograph at a church which is not used every weekend as it is now considered a "Historical Church", and can be reserved for Weddings. School's out

Watch out for little ones now that school is out. They are so cute-yet sometimes are not watching what they are doing....they can dart out into the street in an instance. They are busy 'playing' and have NO worries, except that it is time to play and eat. We had the honor of attending a "graduation" from Kindergarten recently, and really enjoyed the performance that these little ones put on for the attendees. Yes, I will admit, the young one in the middle in the white shirt is my little Grandson. He is really a card.
Again, I say, please watch for little ones this summer. Lovable, cute and "quick"-we all have to be as quick and keep our eyes out for the safety of these little ones.

Sporting Events

The busy spring/summer season is really hitting hard. We will be busy not only with Weddings, Families, High School Seniors, Children, but also with the evenings of photographing Sporting Events for surrounding and local areas. We keep hopping, but enjoy the fun and busy life-style. Watching these kids at sports events make me wish I was the one in the uniform playing the sport. Red

That's what is my daddy's name. Everyone calls him Red. No-one knows him by his real name, not even my mom when he proposed to her! She went home to tell her parents that Red proposed and that they were going to get married. They asked what his real name was, she replied " I don't know"!!! You come to my area or surrounding areas of Monticello, and EVERYONE knows Red. I come from a family of 8 kids, all of which we get along real well and really enjoy being together. Our days with (our Dad) Red are precious. We just got him out of the hospital yesterday after 5 days of trying to get him over a "hump" as they call it of Radiation. We all stop/call and spend those precious times with him. He loves to be out in his work shop making small projects for people to enjoy. He only charges his cost for those that want to buy something from him. It is being out in the shop woodworking that makes him happy besides being with family. The image of him was just a couple weeks ago, we want him back on his feet enjoying life. Enjoy your family. Get that portrait of your family. You'll never realize how important that portrait will be some day in the future. We can capture what is important to you....and us.

Wow, these kids now-a-day really keep busy life-styles...school, studies, sports, social life-to be so young. It certainly keeps the parents young as well as they are constantly running around with them with all the involvement of a child's life. As a parent, you'll always be involved with your child, from birth, through school-age, into college then watching them get married....so-on and so-on. We have lived it all and have enjoyed it through every step of the way. Now we are enjoying watching our grandchildren grow. They too are athletic, as that is the way their parents want them to be rather than sit around and watch TV all day. Athletics are good for you. My hubby and I are up rather early and start our day out working out, so we too can stay young to enjoy life with our family. Something Old....

This moment actually brought tears to my eyes. The Brides Grandma came into the dressing room at the resort where the wedding was held. In her hands she held something very near and dear to her heart, something OLD. You've heard that saying, "something OLD, something NEW, something BLUE, something BORROWED. Now she was handing that "near and dear" item over to her grand-daughter so she could treasure it. What Grandma had to say literally did bring the tears to the eyes. Daddy's Little Girl

"OK Honey, this is your big day, are you ready?" Is this what Daddy was saying as the Bride to be and her Daddy walked out of where she got ready? I don't know, I don't want to know what the conversation was, I just wanted to be there those last moments of the two of them together as Daddy and Daughter. Oh, don't get me wrong, they will ALWAYS be Daddy and Daughter, but this was those last "special" moments together. I love to be there and capture those moments, hence the name "Magic Moments" Photography. The moments people have together are moments to capture, to treasure. My moments with my Daddy continue daily....I stop to visit him daily (when I'm not out of town photographing), but I will call him. Those moments with him I will treasure forever. Those days may come to an end (as he is suffering of an fast growing cancer) and I want to be with him forever in my heart as he is in mine. Daddys and Daughters have a special love between them. These Shoes are made for Gettin' Married In

Do you (if you've been married) have the shoes you wore when you were married? I do. Yep, 37 years ago, and I still have them. My Dad walked me up the aisle in them to get married to the man of my life. They are sentimental. No, I will never wear them again, but I have them. Not many people hang onto those. But I know what people hang onto and cherish... your wedding images. After the day the cake is gone, the flowers are dead, the gown and tux are dirty (altho, we will do "Trash the gown"), the cake is eaten, the dinner you had served is eaten..., the only thing you have to cherish are the images that we can create for you in a Designer Album. Hey, how 'bout that Snow!!!

WOW!!! The Snow really hit us again yesterday. It is really pretty, but I guess I wish it would only snow on the grassy areas as cleaning the walk and driveway is quite a chore. And then ya have to worry about driving on/in it. I know I was out yesterday while it was snowing-whew, tough to see in front of ya. Once I got home, I bunkered down and worked on some projects that needed to be tended to.

This is one of the beautiful images we worked on to perfect it even more-so. The Love-the Closeness-Almost. We can create beautiful images of your Special Day, and we have openings for 2009 yet. Although, we are booking into 2011.

Thanks for the prayers you all are sending my Daddys way. Next week begins the long road to a hopefully painless life that he has left. But then, there are always miracles!!!

Happy together

These families are happy to be together. They enjoy every moment together. They, also, are members of the Military.

My father was a member of the Military. I am what you would call a child from the so-called "baby boomer" years. I am proud of my father. I am also proud of my husband who served as well. I am proud to be an American and have families give us the chance to live in the country we live in. Please, thank those who serve.

Back to my Dad. We have just returned from a doctors appointment in which the outcome is not as good as we wanted, but what we expected. He was diagnosed to have Cancer rapidly traveling throughout his bones. Given no chemotheraphy, it was mentioned that 6 months would be his life expectancy. He is weak, although going to give Chemo a couple trys at which point we will then be made aware as to weather or not it is helping giving him another year???. It is his choice, and I respect that and will be with him whenever needed and at any of my available time. Please pray for him. Thank you. Take time out of your life to spend with the one(s) you love.

Wouldn't you say? This little girl has Daddy wrapped around her little finger I bet!??? I will say, I know my Daddy has me wrapped around his finger.... or do I have him wrapped around my little finger? Enjoy family as much as you can. This family featured here is a Military family and you can see how happy they are to be together enjoying one another. They, also, enjoyed the stay at a local facility here during the Valentine weekend in which I mentioned in yesterday's blog.

Today is going to be another decent day outdoors. Go for a walk, enjoy the fresh air. More snow coming tomorrow, yuck!!!

Operation Valentine

Thank you to all of our Military Service Personnel!!!!! We had the great opportunity to photograph families and individuals from a recent event held here locally. A very generous manager/owner of a hotel opened up his facility to the families of those that are currently in the Armed forces in which he reduced the room rates, had an open house, let the families swim and even set aside a room and had movies going into the night for all to enjoy. We were fortunate to be able to set up our equipment/lighting and photograph families/individuals. We met a lot of great people!!! We had fun with many people involved. These images are a couple for you to enjoy, more to follow.

This little guy was so fun to watch during the wedding ceremony. He just kind-a walked around anywhere he wanted while the Bride and Groom were saying their vows. There was no stopping him. Now as indicated in the title, he was ready to "get outta there and go eat".

I must be getting my act together. Actually, finally finding some time to breath. As I mentioned yesterday, just busy with album creation. I will be working on another today after I visit with a Bridal Consultant at a venue. They are interested in working with us to be one of their featured Bridal Photographers. They called us. How exciting!!! Then off I go to drop off composits to a PreSchool that we photographed. The children already have their packages of images, these are just the class composits. When completed with that, I then will take the time to create another album. The image shown here today, features a local basketball student that actually can spin the basketball on his finger. That is quite an accomplishment!Keep Smiling!

Been a While? You bet 'cha. Life has been busy and hectic here at Magic Moments Photography. We have busy with all the orders from last years Brides and Grooms putting their wedding albums together. And how are you today? I feel great even if the Vikings lost, but I always say"there's always next year". I know a lot of people feel that way. Oh well....onto bigger and better things!
Today I am headed off to a photographic meeting/training seminar. If you should call to set up an appointment or to chat, you will go to voice mail...just leave a message and I will call you either during a break or first thing tomorrow morning. It's cold out there...dress warm, and as my Grandmother always said "keep extra warm items in your car-pack a bag". You know?, I listened to her and low a behold, I HAD to use that overnite bag...I was in the Metro area and the roads were too bad to drive on to get home, so I had to grab a Hotel room. You just never know-so be prepared! Take care of yourself for the ones that love you!

2009 is upon us already. Have you made your new years resolution? Make sure it is within reach and attainable. That has been my problem every year....to far out of reach! This year I made a new years resolution that I will reach. Oh, and by the way, do you have any goals that you want to reach this year? Write them down, put them up in front of you to see every day...such as by your coffee pot, your computer, your frig. See the goals that you have written down----only put 5 to 8 down on paper and check them daily. When you reach a goal-take a Black marker, cross it off and celebrate then work to cross off another goal to be reached for the year of 2009. I love the feeling of crossing off a goal that was written the first part of the year. I wrote down 10 last year (2008) and crossed off 6, but I feel I did well. I just carried over the remaining 4 to this year of 2009 and added a few....I will be able to cross all of them off this year...oh, maybe I should write that down as my last goal for 2009 on my list? ;)

This fine young lady was a competitior this past Saturday at a Karate Tournament. She was one of many who ended up with awards to be proud of. Many of the children and young adults that were competetors should be proud of themself with or without awards. To watch them compete was just amazing with the way they carried themselves, acted amoungst others, treated others, and to just be out in the middle of an arena in front of many spectators was something these competetors should be proud of. Been there, done that. This young couple will be separated for months. When we got married, we were separated by the service-seeing each other only 3 months out of the first 2 years we were married. We did not have email, cell phones and the convenience of keeping in touch...only with "love letters", and then they would come in batches of 5 after a whole 2 weeks. This couple were married only an hour after having their session completed by us at the studio. They will have a wonderful life keeping in touch with other via the internet, and cell phone. We wish them a wonderful life together and apart. We appreciate the young men and women of our country.

I am fortunate enough to be able to stop by and see my Daddy (and Mommy) to give them a little hug and kiss. They both are still with us on this earth and only live 5 minutes away. There are days that go by, due to our busy schedule, that I don't take an extra few minutes to stop or even make a phone call...then I get "the call" from my Daddy! You have to admit, the Fall season was beautiful with its colors that Mother Nature supplied us for the season. I hate to admit it, but I think those days are gone by the wayside. The trees are bare, the air is cold, the s_ _ _ is just around the corner. (by the way, the next letter to go in the next line next to the s is n!) Even if the weather is cold, we are still accomodating our family portraiture in the studio. We will be photographing into the December holidays as that is when family is home to visit. This weekend we will be photographing a family for a 25th Anniversary on location. What a great gift to present to family-togetherness and a portrait to go with it. Today we finished up with another PreSchool, after 3 days. A lot of children, all with their own personalities. It was fun to see each child come in, either shy, excited, scared, timid or just a mind of their own...but I believe the parents will be happy with the image we created for them of their child. We have never had a parent not excited with the image due to the way we can get each child involved with the session...it may take a while for some of the kids, but we "get 'r done". On that note, I have located another PreSchool that just opened up (a month ago) and will go visit with them regarding images of the children. The question will come up, "do you have references" or "testimonials"? and I know all of the PreSchools we have worked with will give great raving references as they like our style and how we can work with the kids....

Have yourself a great evening/day. I just got GREAT news that both of my boys (and their wives) will be home for the holidays----I am sooooo.... excited!!!! We will have a house full of fun with all of our children (3) and their spouses and our grandchildren. Those days will begin on December 19 and continue through the end of the year.

Remember that rhyme?....Bride and Groom sitting in the tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g...first comes love, then come marriage, Yep, that's what happens and we love being a part of your family throughout ALL of your married life. Today we were photographing another PreSchool in which we came accross a child from a couple we photographed years ago at their wedding. I can only hope that they will contact us (as they have) for additional "magical moments" of their growing family and lives. Who knows, we may do the Graduation session, hummmm, say in 11 years? Then maybe the wedding?

Truly a beautiful location for this family. The lady of the household had been eying this area for a while and absolutely had to have their family session at this spot. I can't blame her, it was a great location for a family session---not to say as well a beautiful day!!!

Waiting for the Moment...

The day is not only for the Bride and the anticipation, it also belongs to the Groom. Here the Groom is waiting for the moment that his beautiful Bride shows up to see him for the first time with her gown on and she sees him in his Tux....a precious moment. We capture those moments for you throughout the day.

Our Bride and Groom had fun at this location. As most guys, they don't like to have their picture taken, but with a little coaxing and having a little fun, pretty soon they get into it. We have even had a Groom tell us "I had more fun with you guys photographing us than I did at the reception."

Of course, had they kept us with them into the reception, he may have changed his mind---our Brides and Grooms have fun with us when we are with them. Preschool Kids

Yep, still busy with the little preschoolers. We will finish with them the first week of November. This way all the orders will be in for parents to share with loved ones for the Holidays. This little girl just happen to be one of the little ones that we photographed. They all are so cute with their attitudes and smiles.

This week sounds like it still will be nice for family portraits outdoors, although late in the afternoon. Our evenings are dark already by 5:30pm. Hope the days continue to stay decent. This Bride had a beautiful day for her wedding. It was an outdoor wedding with lots of beautiful flowers, trees and natural growth along Lake Minnetonka. We had such a great time photographing the Bride and Groom as there were so many wonderful places to photograph at! We like to roam around to capture the beauty, rather than stay in one spot when outdoors. In the case of this image, it makes me think that she is saying, "ok, photos are over, I'm off the get married to the man of my dreams. See ya!" But that is not the end of our photographing. Yep, this is another of our very entertaining guy that we had photographed. He will go far. He has that attitude that "nothing will stop him". A gem of a guy...and you know what, I believe he will go far.

We are still getting those senior calls...you need it?, we can do it!!! Just had another person call today. We had photographed his sister a couple of years ago, I think he will be just as fun as she was.

Again, Happy B-Day

I can't believe that it's been 5 days since my last visit with you. Life has been hectic and busy. Today we are off to another PreSchool to capture those cute little ones with their smiles. Yesterday we were at a preschool photographing little ones as well. Our first little girl came running in and hugged both of us. We have never seen her before in our life. She made our day!

Talk about making our day...many years ago, our second child was born to us. He lives in Florida. We called him first thing this morning to wish him a happy B-Day. Do you think he is at home today sitting in the living room eating cake like this little one? I love it when little ones really get into the fresh cake we provide for our 1 year olds being photographed in our studio. I always prepare mommy for the mess she will get to clean up, but they love it.

Yes, today is the hubby's birthday. Yes, we even worked on his B-Day. I have, however, been requested NOT to book anything on 10/10/10...2 years from today!

This young lady came into our studio for her senior session----we have only a few days to get the last of this coming year graduates images in for the year book. We still have them coming in!!!!

She was a fun-relaxed person to work with.

Today we photographed a School-as well as yesterday. Busy, busy, busy. Tomorrow we will be photographing a wedding. Sounds as if the weather will be beautiful for our Bride and Groom.

Little kids are amazing, aren't they? The look on this little boys face tells it all. He's just not used to seeing his little friend all dolled (dressed up). They are used to seeing each other in the sandbox, playing with toys. Well, I know why WE are here and there...to capture the story of the day as it unfolds. Yes, well I have too. Been a very busy last couple of weeks. Haven't gotten on to chat with you for a while...do I feel bad?, you bet...

PreSchools are upon us now. Isn't she a cutie? Choosing the best one for print can be a challenge as we get so many cute looks from these precious little kids.

Last weekend we not only had a wedding (What a beautiful day!!!), but then my hubby and I split up to go different ways to work at Expos. I had the pleasure of working at a Bridal Expo, and meeting a lot of new Brides and Grooms to be. Hope to hear from you soon. These two little ones were fun to work with in the wedding. The Bride and Groom are "finally" at the alter, and the Ring Bearer and Flower Girl got to sit in their special chairs provided to them during the wedding ceremony. They were so cooperative throughout the whole day. I thought it was very thoughtful of the Bride and Groom to have little chairs ready for the kids to sit in (rather than run around during the ceremony).

Another beautiful weekend. Happy Fall! Today at 10:44 am our summer turned into Fall. Watch for the beautiful colors. They will be upon us soon. This is the perfect time to get that Family Portrait scheduled.

Yes, with this couple, you can see that LOVE is Grand. Photographing couples as well as individuals in the wedding party is fun. The image here portrays the Bride "enjoying" her kiss from these two young guys. I don't know if the guys would normally have done this, but we asked-and they worked with us. The day this past Saturday was beautiful. Everything went well for the Bride and Groom...no rain until the wedding was over and we were headed out. We had a great and fun day with the Bride and Groom and wish them well.

Yesterday was a fun day with family at the ole Twins game-even if we lost. It was in celebration of my fathers birthday.

Today I'm off to another seminar. Todays seminar is about weddings. Should be fun. I love learning new things and product for you our friends.

Gotta get ready for a wedding. We will be packing our gear and photographing another beautiful Bride and Groom. When I spoke with her the other day, finalizing details of the day, she seemed soooo... relaxed! I will have an image up for you next week.

Tomorrow is "play" day as we are headed to the Twins game with my brothers and sisters and in-laws as well as my parents. Watch for us as we hope we get the "Circle me Bert". Should have about 25 people in our group. That's small for our family of 50 plus, but some of the relatives couldn't make it.

Oh, by the way, our young beautiful woman of yesterday did make it to the hospital and had her baby in 27 minutes. She WAS desperate in getting that image we created for her completed! She had a beautiful healthy boy and both are doing well.

Hope She Made It in Time

The images of this beautiful woman were created right before she went to the hospital. While photographing her, she kept having contractions every 3-5 minutes. We were, of course, nervous and so was she...she even had the vehicle ready, keys in the ignition. We kept asking her if she was ok...her comment, "I just want to get this done". As you can see, this was VERY important to her as this was to be her last baby (has 2 already). She has always wanted to do this, but never found the time. As I walked her out the door, I asked if she was going home, she said she was not, she was on the way to the hospital........

Yes, shame on me. I left you last Thursday, and here I am a week later! To let you know, there was no internet service up where we were...not even the phone (cell) service was acceptable. I will say it was nice though to just kick back and relax. We returned Tuesday (to avoid the traffic rush) to a long list of things to get completed since we were gone a day longer than planned. Wednesday was a busy day with new clients for future business. Today was just as busy...

The image here reminds me and it should you that it IS time for that family portrait before the snow flies. It is a great time to capture your family portrait which then gives you time to choose images you want to share at the holidays as gifts or even as your Holiday card??? Think about it, but not too long. Our schedule is getting full.

Well, no. I just got carried away with the busy schedule again today. I dropped my grandsons off early today only to start my day with a Bride stopping by to put her order in from her wedding day. Now, we get to design her album since she has chosen the images she wants in her album. Her sister joined her in this process giving some suggestions to the Bride for images in her album. It was fun to see them work together. As they left, the sister said, "you'll have 3 weddings for sure in the next years". What an uplift to know that the family was happy with our work as well.

The image attached is just a special effect that had been created. Cute little girl---but busy body!!!!

The day continued with business. It was a great day. We thought we would leave today to go up North, but too much to catch up on. We want our clients happy, so thought we would get another day in with orders to submit...only to get them delivered to all of you, rather than make you wait. We will go off and enjoy the weekend with family and friends on Friday. If, and that is "IF" I can get internet access, I will keep you updated of our fun weekend planned. Take care.

Busy day from the start today. My grandsons were delivered to us early in the day so that we can play with them and just hang out as grandparents. Just taking a moment to say hi and let you know that I will be back tomorrow. We are taking the day off for them and will get right back into the swing of things (photographically) on Thursday only to take off for the weekend to be with friends and family. Take care. Oh, take time out of YOUR schedule to be with those you love.

Yep, they are now married. The day was just beautiful. If you remember Thursday and Friday being very windy-Saturday had just a slight breeze which made for a gorgeous day for everyone in attendance at the wedding which was outdoors. This is just a teaser for the Bride and Groom as they will not get all their images for a bit. All went well throughout the day. We had met them more than a year ago, and through all the chats feel as if we really have gotten to know them very well. We wish them the best of luck and lots of joy. May all their Moments be Magic.

Today we will have the pleasure of being with this couple for an outdoor wedding. What a beautiful day it will be. The weather will be cooperative for us which makes for a great day with such a beautiful couple. They love the outdoors. They were so much fun photographing on the day of the engagement session (last year) we are looking forward to as much fun today.

This is a collection of images that we created for a mother of her child this summer playing T-ball. Something extra we offer to parents other than the normal individual and team photo. We also have a new product which is a "cut-out" of the individual in action. It's awsome.

That is what is fun about this business...always trying to come up with something new and different to peak your (the clients) interest. That is why we are always reading, going to seminars or training and working with the vendors we trust...we want YOU happy.

Call for any needs..senior session dates are closing up, I think we only have a couple of early morning appointments available. The evenings are booked up. Then we really get busy with the family sessions. Those are usally only evenings because of the work hours of the parents. But then again, there are only a few good evenings available. Then of course, all of our Saturdays are booked with weddings through October. Sunday, is a day for us....our family. Remember how important family is to me?

This woman (new Bride) supports her man. Isn't this cute? Her hubby is a handsome man of at least 6 foot 3 inches and she is a beautiful little 5 foot something. The two of them will support each other thru thick and thin in lifes every challange.

It's all about Love, Feelings, Tenderness, Caring. Can't you just see that in this image? I love to bring this out in the couples that are photographed. I get anxious for the next weekend to photograph our next Bride and Groom...waiting for that moment to capture for them. We are always ready with camera in hand, anticipating their every move...as well as whatever else is going on around the Bride and Groom.

Last nite I attended a meeting in which vendors shared ideas and suggestions to make your special day STRESS FREE. Call us, we can do just that...we'll have FUN. What is going on here? This makes me ask the question. All I know is that all of a sudden, everyone was laughing...yes, even the Bride. But again, a professional photographer would be ready with the camera in hand, and capture the "moment". Weddings are an event in which we are ready with camera in hand, ready for anything that needs to be captured!!!! That, again is the beauty of two (2) photographers at your event, your special day. Please, don't be another Bride and Groom who go to the "amateur ", so called "professional photographer" who thinks they are the person that should photograph your wedding....they will only get snap-shots every now and then and not know lighting and posing and give you a CD after your wedding because they don't have a professional printing lab to get your images preserved on professional photographic paper for years to cherish. Your special day is too important to let that happen. I have had many Brides and Grooms come to me asking if we can help them get the images printed professionally after the "amateur" has captured images that truly canNOT be printed without a LOT of work to correct them....is that what you want?

Hello there! Hope you all had a great weekend. We did. As I mentioned in my last blog, we had family time on Saturday. I "scheduled" that into my calandar a while ago to set time away for family as family (as mentioned many times) is important. As I talk about family, did you happen to read the Minneapolis Sunday paper? In the Twin Cities section-front page- was an article showing a woman walking out of her ruined home with a "FAMILY PORTRAIT" as it happened to be one of her prized possessions. She could have taken from her home other important items, but I thought it was amazing to see an image in the paper showing a person saving her most important item to save. What does that say to you? Think about it, do you have a family portrait that means so much to you that if you had a fire, or flood - what would you take first? I know that I would grab my images from the wall (3 special ones) as I know they would be very hard to reproduce. It is family portrait time....a great time to get that portrait done so that you have the time to get images for others as holiday gifts. Get those family portrait sessions booked before the end of October.

Welp, gotta go get ready for the first High School senior of the day...yes, I know, I said it is family portrait time but we gotta get finished up with those High School Seniors before school starts so that they have the image for the year book...still time for that, although I only have a couple of open sessions for that at this time...Call us at 763-295-2727.

Hi, just a quick note: We are off to enjoy some family time today (no wedding) as my brother invited all of us---approximately 40 people to come up and enjoy the day with family with a cook out and just hanging together. What a perfect time to get another updated family photo, huh? Keep that in mind the next time you get together with your family-it is so precious.

Our Alaska Bridal Couple

The gentleman here (the groom) was so relaxed waiting for his Bride to show up via a water arrival, he began to play with the "locals" to keep himself busy. The wedding was beautiful, the weather just great and I believe everyone in attendance had a wonderful time. All of the wedding plans were arranged by a Wedding Consultant of which we were requested to be the photographer for this event. What an honor. A Wedding Consultant depends on you (all vendors) to make him/her look good as the Bride and Groom have hired this consultant to handle all details for them. That makes it very relaxing for the Bride and Groom so that they can just enjoy the day---basically just choose the date to get married, their wedding party and all show up. These are just a couple of the images from the day....of course, too many to share on line with you, although, if you should request us to be your photographer be assured that your images will be on-line for everyone to view after you have passed off the password choosen to view your images. This helps so that everyone no matter where they come from can view the wedding images and order them as they choose-weather they are from CA, FL, NY or overseas---they will be able to enjoy the images as well.

This couple is so excited. Their wedding day is coming up soon. S came to pick up her engagement images the other day, and she couldn't contain her excitement of her upcoming day. She will be a beautiful Bride. Her story of how she met D (her hubby to be) is wonderful. I love the hear of stories of how people met. Then I love to hear the story of how the proposal went...don't worry, if it's too intimate, I don't want to know (hee, hee). Love is beautiful, isn't it? Have a great day!
