Passionate about her job

This woman is just amazing. She really cares about her job. She is a real estate woman, and very passionate about her job. She had come to us to have her business portrait done as she needed an updated image for her advertising pieces. I had met her through a networking group of which we belong to and meet weekly. I never knew her before.

I have had her help my sister in Wisconsin, who is trying to sell her home. K contacted another realtor in the area to help my sister. K did all she could to make sure that the realtor treated my sister correctly like she would herself.

We have friends that were having problems with the property that K had sold them (yard issue), and K jumped in to do whatever she could-way after the sale of the property. If it weren't for her, the issue would have continued. She solved it for them.

If I were in need of a realtor, K would be the person I contact.

That's what I love about photography. You get to know the person by chatting. We are not just another "take a number" studio. We care about our clients, and love to hear about them.

Keep us in mind for any photographic needs you have.

Keep Smiling

2009, Already?

You bet! This past weekend (Sunday) we had Bridal Shows in which we met a lot of fun-loving new couples. Some of you are still looking for a Professional Photographer for this year, in which we have a few open dates left, but wow! I am really proud of those of you looking into the year 2009 for your wedding dates! So many of you said, "I know it's too early to book a photographer now"...it's NOT! If you really want a Professional Photographer capturing the images and style you want, you NEED to book now. Those of you asking for availability this year, I believe you wish you had booked way in advance due to the fact that we were not able to photograph your wedding. I gave you contact phone numbers to call ... don't hesitate. My Photographer friends are professionals also, and may already be booked. Good luck! Call if you still need help.

The photo attached is of a couple we did this past summer-beautiful day, and fun couple. I am sorry I have not been with you the past couple of days, although getting things arranged for a Bridal Show does take some time...I know, not excuse!

Have a great day! Tonight I am attending another meeting with other photographers to chat about Senior Photography and new ideas! Call us if in need.

An Awesome Brave Boy

Yesterday I met this totally awesome brave young boy. He was soooo.... cute!
There is a benefit being held for M on March 8. He has a lot of medical expenses due to an uncurable Flesh Eating Bacteria this past August. In just a few short hours it was decided that his arm had to be removed via many surgeries and hours in the hyperbaric chamber to save his life. He then needed skin grafts and spent over 6 weeks in the hopital recovering. He will be needing in the future additional skin grafting, a prosthetic arm and physical therapy.
This little boy has a spirit of a normal young kid-running, laughing, playing and joking. He will be a featured little bunny holder during our upcoming Bunny Session, as well as enjoying a family session donated by us.
Keep him in your prayers. If you are interested in helping his cause, please call me at our office. Our number is 763-295-2727
Thank you, and Keep Smiling

Where have I been?

Hello,

I'm sorry I have not been with you all the last few days. Our system has been on the "mend" which left me without the opportunity to chat with you. I have to say, we have been busy with the marketing end of photography. We attended a Seminar this past Sunday and Monday, and I will say, I LEARNed a LOT. Being with fellow photographers was an enjoyable time. Believe me, early to bed was not the issue here. After the seminar-training and comradery continued with a photographic friend that went into the wee hours of the morning. There was a lot to learn, and my brain went into overload---but in a good way.

The image here is of a precious little girl who just turned a year old, and it was her Grandpa who scheduled her session. She was so fun to work with. Oh yes, there were tears at times, and of course the parents were so concerned that we would not capture her real self, but just look at this one...Peek-a-Boo!

Tired of this White Stuff?

Going through some of my images-this one caught my eye...it is a beautiful time of year! The weather is enjoyable, the colors are pretty, and people are out enjoying the day as they know that the days will be short, bringing the White Stuff upon us. In my opinion, the snow is around just too long. I want to be out photographing the beauty around us. This is one of the images that caught the "beauty" around them, as well as the love they share for each other.
We photographed this couple for their wedding, and now they are compiling the images they want for their album. I love it when they get the images from their wedding, as the complaint I always get from a Bride and Groom is..."there are too many to choose from, they are all so great, how can I choose from so many wonderful pictures? I want them all". Fine with me!!!

Have a great "white day",

Happy Valentines!!

Hope you and your loved one have a great day...your loved one can be your spouse, child, grandchild, pet, you name it...It is GREAT to be loved and to pass that love onto someone else.

Today I feature an image of a child that loves Karate. He was so proud of his trophies, at which he worked hard at to obtain them. Give him a hand-clapp, clapp, clapp

Cheerleading Event

A full Saturday at an event can prove to be exciting. This young lady not only won an award, but her whole team won State and will be traveling onto St Louis this summer to compete Nationally. We enjoy photographing at events. We even help out the organizations that we photograph by presenting them a check. They utilize the funds either by purchasing more uniforms, equipment or for travel.
Keep us in mind if you should be a coach or on an organization for youth sports. We would love to provide you with moments to cherish as this young lady will for life.

A Tearful Moment

If you ever get a chance to get to Hawaii, make it a point to get to Pearl Harbor. You will never regret it. We were there and it was during the actual "date" of the bombing. The gentlemen you see here in this image was there ON December 7-during the bombing. I had always known of Pearl Harbor, and always thought about it, but when I saw this man and thought of what he went through and what was going through his mind....tears began to flow

Ya Know????

Sometimes before ya know it, the day is over with. We were busy marketing yesterday with what we will call new clients requesting our services for the future. I believe that if I show you what we have, what we can do for you, and why you should choose us as your photographer, no one can go wrong. I want you to be comfortable with us, as we will spend a lot of time with you not only as your photographer, but also as your friend. Those of you reading this blog can see how we ARE your friend, we don't want to be treating you like a number such as the "corporate world" does.

OK, now onto another beautiful image "by the ocean". Wouldn't that be nice to be there now?, especially with the upcoming weather we are in for?

Weddings

One of my favorite images to obtain is the actual ring exchange. Sometimes you can get right in there to capture that precious moment. This was VERY close, but still unobtrusive. This is the "moment" that a Bride and Groom will cherish forever....it only happens once! Enjoy

Hey, I found me

Here I am...got a little lost in busy life. Things are good. Life is good!
We had a fun Bride and Groom -to-be over today which booked our last October Saturday that was available. We do have a couple of fall wedding dates open, so if you are even thinking of calling, quit thinking and call 763-295-2727. With Valentines Day coming up, even those could get booked before the end of February, not to mention our Bridal Expos coming up yet in February in which I am offering Bridal Specials. Call for details. Have a great weekend!
